What to Tell your parents! Zine

What to tell your parents if you want to major in art history

A definitive guide

This zine was envisioned as a potential solution for students who may express interest in Art History coursework, but who remain puzzled on how to educate the people in their lives of the discipline's value. This was a struggle I regularly faced from friends and family who could not envision the practical uses of an art history degree--for some students, this pressure is difficult to overcome.

This easy-to-digest guide is meant to act as a springboard for students to showcase the unexpected connections between art history and other studies. It also provides a practical list of skills a typical art history student will learn in the department.

Though it was created for Elon students, please feel free to download and print out the zine for any educational or personal use. Please get in touch if you'd like to use it for any other purposes. It is best suited for 8.5" x 11" paper (US Letter), and can be printed in both color and B&W. I've also linked a guide which shows how to properly fold the zine.
